What a time to be alive. In less than three weeks, X-Men: Apocalypse comes to US theaters and with it a post credits scene. Post credits scenes at this point aren’t exactly news in the world of comic book movies (unless of course you’re DC), but Simon Kinberg has given us some insight in a recent interview with Collider.com about this bit of extra content.
“It’s a nod toward potentially a lot of different movies. I mean certainly the Wolverine movie is related to what happens at the end of it, but there’s also another character that’s introduced, at least in name, in the tag and he could show up in any host of different X-Men films. Maybe a Gambit movie, maybe another X-Men movie.”
As you can see he’s not giving us too much to go on, but that’s probably best. Would hate to be spoiled three weeks before seeing the movie. So who do you think it could be? The long awaited Gambit? Or perhaps even a character from the coming New Mutants movie? Talk about it in the comments and make sure like, share, and follow Sprom for news on this and other stuff in the world of movie news.
X-Men: Apocalypse comes to theaters May 27th, 2016 and New mutants doesn’t currently have a release date but will possibly start shooting in early 2017.
